Entrance fee to Lithuanian Curonian Lagoon up

Neringa Municipality Council decided to increase the eco-tax. The Council's decision will take effect on September 1.

The entrance fee to the National Park of Curonian Spit which is administered by Neringa town municipality will not change all year-round, regardless of the time of the year.

So far a person had to pay LTL 10 (EUR 2,8) for the entrance if he or she was going in a passenger car, motorcycle or scooter. Since the tax was increased twice, now a passenger will have to pay LTL 20 (EUR 5,8) the entire year. Previously, people were asked to pay such fee only during the summer session.

A fee for a car with a trailer, a bus with up to 30 seats, camper and truck, which weights up to 5.5 tonnes stands at LTL 70 (EUR 20.27). The entrance of a bus with more of 30 seats costs LTL 150 (EUR 43,4).
